QUEEN VANDA'S POWER NUGGETS
Vanda Wilson-Wormack was born in Bertie County, Windsor, North Carolina. She successfully earned a B.A., in Political Science and Public Administration, and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University, Durham, NC.
One of her most heralded opportunities was serving as the Local Coordinator for the National Black Caucus of State Legislators Conference for the NC Black Caucus of State Legislators. Her unique ability to multi-task, while remaining organized and professional earned her the respect of colleagues, legislators, state governmental officials and lobbyists alike. She also participated in Bible Study Fellowship International, which features an eight-year study schedule covering: Genesis, Romans, Matthew, Life of Moses, Isaiah, John, Israel and the Minor Prophets, and Acts of the Apostles. This in-depth supplemental study allowed her to “learn and apply homiletics”, “how to teach effectively” and “share the Gospel with others.”
“Professional, Detail-Oriented and an excellent Bible study group leader,” are just some of the descriptions given by those with whom she has worked and served.
